Reopening policies COVID-19.

 

Stay at Home order for hair salons is lifted beginning June 15/2020, and we are so excited to come back and do what we love doing, which is making everyone look and feel their best. Here what to expect when arriving for your appointment at Papillon Blanc Salon.

Due to the governor's order, COVID-19 reopening,  the appointments will be spread out; this means there is a limited amount of customers booked per day. We highly suggest booking your hair appointment in advance possibly 2-3 visits out 

All clients will have their temperatures taken upon arrival at the salon using a no-touch digital thermometer. If customers do have a fever, services will be declined to reschedule

When you arrive at the salon, you will see our staff wearing a mask, face shield, and gloves. There will be only one or two stylists working at the time, and each client will have 6 feet distance from each other. 

Customers will be asked to fill out a questionnaire form upon arrival 

Here are some questions customers will be asked 


  • Do you have a fever?

  • Do you have any of the following: cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, body aches, headache, the new loss of taste or smell, or a sore throat?

  • Are you currently living with someone who has been sick in the past 14 days?

  • Customers will be asked to wash their hands upon arrival before their services in the salon environment.

  • Wear A Mask: the CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Wearing a mask not only helps you protect yourself but also coworkers and community. 

  • Limit Any Non-Essential Contact: We know many of our clients greet us with handshakes and hugs, but this puts everyone at risk—so for now, we are limiting any non-essential contact to keep everyone safe. Avoid Bringing your friends, your kids, or your purses to the salon. Try to limit your belonging by carrying only your keys and cell phone. 

  • Limit using salon surfaces such as station countertops, waiting area, or reaching out for beverages 

  • No beverages. We will not be offering beverages or hand magazines to read.

  • Appointment Arrival: at your appointment time, we will expect customers to be on time. Please wait in your car, and the stylist will call you as soon as the station is cleaned sensitized and ready for the next appointment. 

  • Call or email to cancel your appointment within 72 hours to avoid cancelation fees. We understand this is difficult for us to do just as it is for you, so please try to be on time at your appointment. We have a waiting list started, and we want to accommodate all of you.   

  • Limiting Contact At The Reception Desk. For your conviniece We have created our online shop where customers will be able to pay for services directly from their phones. Product page to purchase your services. We are reducing the risk of spreading the virus by implementing contact-free payment and scheduling systems to protect the safety of salon staff and clients.

  • Communication with clients will be kept to a minimum and only with eye contact via the mirror. Direct communication will be avoided

  • Services related to the face, such as eyebrow or facial waxing services, will not be performed.
